Momento Goods is a thoughtfully curated collection of fair- trade and ethically made home and lifestyle goods that support women from around the world through sustainable economic opportunities and practical resources. They seek to build relationships among women around the world, working together to support opportunities, organizations and resources that nurture the overall well-being of women everywhere.
Momento Goods’ target market is composed of primarily women— supporting other females matters greatly to them. Their dream client is in her 30’s and values the serene space her home provides, both for those who dwell in it and for those she invites into it.
As we moved from the strategy phase into the design phase, standing out from the competition was hugely important to me. It always is, but with this brand especially it felt like every other home goods brand was a text-only logo. While we wanted to keep things simple for the primary logo, we intentionally created a unique distinction between the “o” and the rest of the letters to focus on the moments that the brand longs for it’s customers to create. When it came to the secondary logo and marks, a graphic was a must to set Momento apart from their competition. The needle represents the hand-made approach to home goods while the eucalyptus twig speaks into the growth that happens in women because of their relationship with Momento.
